Multi-Vitamin06/03/2011 |
There are so many multi-vitamins out there. And since they are not regulated by the FDA, how do I know which vitamins are safe and which ones are not? I purchased a multi-vitamin from a health food store that read as follows: Vitamin A(palmitate) 10,000 iu, Vitamin A (beta carotene) 7,000 iu, Vitamin B-1 75mg, Vitamin B-2 75 mg, Vitamin B-6 75 mg, Vitamin B-12 75 mcg, Manganese 6.1 mg, RNA 50mg, Rutin 25mg,choline 30 mg, inositol 75 mg, para amino benzoic acid 75 mg,citrus bio flavonoids 25 mg, Hesperidin complex 5 mg, betaine hydrochloride 25 mg,and you get my point. How do I know if what I am taking is safe? How do I go about shopping for multi vitamins? Thanks
Thank you for visiting NetWellness. This depends on your age and gender but the Centrum line is the best.
