Monarch Sling for Bladder06/02/2011 |
I have had my bladder tact about 5 years ago and I had a sling put in a little over a year ago. I have not stopped the leaking, and I am getting pain in my abdomen. It hurts to use the bathroom and I was at work last night when I had the urge to go so I headed to the restroom and before I reached the restroom It just released. What are my options?
Unfortunately, the risk of developing overactive bladder is higher after sling procedure. There are times that overcorrection may also play a role in this condition. Erosion of the mesh in through urethra and bladder need to be investigated by a simple looking (cystoscopy) into the bladder.
