First off, you need to go back and see the physician that performed this procedure and have them thoroughly evaluate your throat (posterior pharynx, tonsils, uvula, and posterior aspect of the tongue). It is almost one month since the procedure and your complaints although normal immediately postoperatively, this seems to be dragging on and you need to have this evaluated.
I presume that the physician "scoped" you and would have a better idea of what the status was both pre and post operatively. These procedures and even intubation for surgery, can result in irritation and trauma to the structures in the mouth and throat, but the usually resolve with time.
Having personally treated many patients that have uvulectomies for airway obstruction and snoring, the procedure is very painful and takes a few weeks to heal. That is why I strongly recommend that you return to see your physician and have them evaluate your specific complaints.
